“That’s why it’s important to have fast doors, so that we don’t lose too much cold at the door openings. Previously, we had ordinary, transparent swing doors,” says Mikael Lennartsson, production manager. And they worked well, but a disadvantage is that you drive on the door with the truck every time it is to be opened, which caused a lot of wear.
For Atria, the solution came to be called high-speed doors from NORDIC door. So far, several doors have been installed.
“The doors are admittedly a little more expensive to purchase and install than the traditional swing doors. But in the long run, we will have a better economy and environment with the high-speed doors,” says Mikael Lennartsson.
