After more than 25 years on the market, NORDIC high speed roll doors are installed at most all larger companies in Sweden and at many industrial companies around Europe.

Some customers are large and buy doors regularly from us, some smaller companies we may be in touch with only occationally. All customers are however equally important to us and we place great emphasis on keeping everyone satisfied. That's maybe why a big part of our sales are initiated by a current customer recommending us to other potential customers.

An increasing number of companies also appreciate our doors being manufactured inhouse by us in Sweden, and that we have all spare parts easily accessible.

If you would like to know about any other company in your business using our doors, please contact us.

TM-Design in Torsås, Sweden

NORDIC's machine protection door has made it possible to both reduce cell size and increase operation speed.

TM-Design & Installation in Torsås, Sweden, represents one of NORDIC’s most long-standing customers when it comes to machine protection doors. TM-Design produces, among other things, compact production cells for welding and hydroforming.

– The NORDIC roll doors have made it much easier for us to build compact and reliable cells and as the doors are fully installed and integrated from factory. Start up on site is safer and quicker, says Niclas Wernered, Electronics/Automation.

Already 2004 the first NORDIC door was ordered. The plan was to replace the huge vertical hatches that had been used earlier. The fast NORDIC roll doors made it possible to reduce the size of the cell and increase speed of operation.

Having tested the door and liking the quality the question was raised if a door, with more narrow frames and designed so that two doors could be put close together, could be developed. This was the start of the NORDIC machine protection door.

The doors are very reliable, and as NORDIC has developed the safety TM-Design has been able to improve labour safety around their cells even further, means Niclas.

Robotteknik Automation in Vetlanda, Sweden

Machine protection door at Robotteknik

The robot cells are with a Nordic door solution more compact built and provide increased operator safety.

Robotteknik Automation in Vetlanda, Sweden has been using the NORDIC machine protection doors for their robot cells since the beginning of 2016. Robotteknik is, among other things, producing compact welding cells.

– Robotteknik had earlier been using light curtains as protection in front of the robot cells. Looking for a protection that could be located closer to the cell, we found the NORDIC 344 machine protection doors, tells Jussi Lehikoinen, CEO.

The advantage with the NORDIC roll doors was that they made it possible to build a more compact cell, but also eliminated the problem with production stops when somebody accidentally obstructed the light curtain.

Looking at the NORDIC range of doors Jussi Lehikoinen immediately decided to use the type NORDIC 344 rollback. With the top roll and moving parts on the back of the door and the fact that it can easily be mounted to simple steel posts in the door opening, it was the ideal solution for Robotteknik’s production cells.

To improve safety as operators work close to the cells, Robotteknik is ordering the NORDIC doors with a safety photocell curtain and NORDIC drive A2 vector control.

– The feedback from delivered doors is good and the support from NORDIC door has been excellent. The doors are trouble-free installed by ourselves with help from the manuals and the electrical drawings, says Jussi Lehikoinen.
