NORDIC drive/control

Control system for high performance doors with optimal safety

NORDIC drive A4.0

The newly developed NORDIC A4.0 drive system includes features such as intelligent PLC control that automatically adapts and optimizes the Vector control for different operating conditions. The system monitors all safety device as well as the function of the motor brake. Safety class is as standard cat 2, PLc and optionally class 2, PLe.

The A4.0 drive system is user-friendly – easy to install, service and maintain. The drive system is pre-programmed and tested upon delivery, but supplementary programming can be done directly on the full colour display.

Our product range also includes alternative drive systems for applications where requirements for advanced control functions are limited:

NORDIC M-1, a well-proven drive system designed for doors in environments where the need for advanced control functions is low.

The control will immediately detect any brake failure, close the door safely and show an alarm.

The battery-less encoder in the gearbox keeps track of the door position at any time. No reset needed after power failure.
