NORDIC 344-protec

A high-speed roller door that is compact, fast and can be placed close to the work site. Touch sensors that are placed protected in the frame monitor that the door is safely closed. Frame width is only 80 mm.

Few wear parts allow the door to withstand millions of openings and closings with minimal maintenance. NORDIC 344 high-speed doors have a flexible control that can be programmed for all types of operating functions. It is prepared for remote control and can be equipped with the optional UPS, which allows the door to be opened even in the event of a power failure.

The NORDIC 344 high-speed doors are now equipped with a photocell curtain integrated in the frames. The curtain covers the entire door opening and stops and reverses the door completely non-contact if something moves in the door opening. The curtain, which has no moving wear parts and is protected in the frame, is approved to replace pinch protection and safety photocells.

Design

• High-speed roller door with robust construction, with a heavy-duty door panel and few wear parts.
• The frames consist of anodized aluminium profiles, assembled so that they can be quickly and easily disassembled for e.g. inspection.
• Fast and discreet drive type NORDIC drive A4.0 with an opening speed of up to 2,5 m/s.
• Frames, bottom beam, roller cover and engine cover made of anodised aluminium.

Door panel

• The door panel is made of the NORDIClean material, 2 mm thick, 2,4 kg/m², having a high finish, is antistatic with integrated carbon fibers and is resistant to weld spatter and UV radiation.
• Colours (standard): blue (RAL 5007) and light grey (RAL 7038).

Drive system

• Vector control with adjustable speeds up to 2,5 m/s. 1x230V, 10A.
• Control type NORDIC drive A4.0, cat 2, PLc. Full colour touch display in the front of the electrical cabinet for programming and information.

Safety

• NORDIC’s patented edge holding function that securely anchors the door panel to the narrow frames.
• Safety photocell curtain in the frames that, touchless, stops/reverses the door panel if any person or object in the door opening.
• Non-contact sensors (cat.4) are mounted in the frames to interlock the machinery behind the door so that it cannot start if the door is not fully closed. The sensors can be easily adjusted to change the closing position.

Sizes

• Minimum clear opening 600×600 mm.
• Maximum clear opening 4000×4000 mm (other sizes on request).

Options

• Controller type NORDIC drive A4.0 adapted for supply 3x400V, 10A.
• A4.0 control upgraded to meet cat 2, PLd.
• Communication modules for Profisafe, Profinet, Profibus. etc.
